Roni Amid
For the past two decades, finance executive and entrepreneur Roni Amid has been immersed in various aspects of international business in the Middle East, Europe and the United States. Roni has served as Vice Chairman for Westcorp Management Group, LLC since 2008. Under that capacity, Mr. Amid has secured over $950 million of financing in the multifamily market. Throughout the years he has overseen investments in over 2,000 units. He has recently completed post-recession, ground-up developments totaling 1,630 units with Nevada West Partners by overseeing all aspects of acquisition and design. In addition, Mr. Amid has formed and heads a new import company, East West Links. He oversees all product design, purchasing, and placement for home line products. Mr. Amid served as a special consultant and Vice Chairman to MaxJet Airways, where from 2005 to 2008 he engaged in strategic management and fund-raising activities, contributing to the initiative of securing $100 million in the London Stock Exchange Alternative Investment Market.
Tal Hackmey
Tal moved to the United States in 2005. Before moving to the US, he served in the Israeli Defense Forces and graduated Tel Aviv University with a double-major in Accounting and Economics.
Tal has been in the real estate industry for over two decades. His career started by purchasing, renovating and leasing office buildings in Israel, England, Hungary and Romania. After that, Tal focused on converting and rezoning these office spaces to residential. Hackmey founded TJH Investments in 2007 when he invested in the Queen Mary and surrounding 60 acres in Long Beach, CA. TJH invests, develops, and manages a portfolio of US real estate assets. Over the years, TJH has held several hundred properties in Las Vegas, NV.
The Hackmey family is fifth generation Israeli and Tal’s grandfather founded the Phoenix Assurance Company, which was sold in 2002 and is currently being traded in the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. Tal serves on the Board of Directors for various companies owned by the family.
In 2015, Terra Development Group was started to break into the Northern Colorado market. Hackmey oversees the financials, architectural designs and many operational aspects.
Jacob Steele
Jake has been involved in the commercial real estate business with a focus on multifamily properties for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Terra Development Group, Jake was First Vice President with Marcus & Millichap’s Multifamily Group based in Denver. He has completed more than $900 million in property sale and financing transactions consisting of over 8,000 units. He currently focuses on all aspects of Terra’s development pipeline including market assessment, site procurement, land use and entitlement, in-house legal, financial structuring, capital markets, project management and asset management. Jake received his BA from Middlebury College and completed his Juris Doctorate at the University of Montana School of Law and Seattle University School of Law.
